Abandoned old building

Off Paint Mountain Road, this old building had me scratching my head. On this side it looked like an old one room school house or church, but from the front it looked more like a house. Either way it was sad to see it in such bad shape.

32 outside of Newport

This is a great winding road perfect for motorcycles, but I recommend an adventure bike as this road turns to dirt before you get to the end.

A hairpin turn on 32

This is the dirt section of 32. It is very curvy and it drops elevation pretty fast. Great for an adventure touring motorcycle.

Old single lane bridge over Cataloochee Creek

This old metal and wood decked bridge over Cataloochee Creek on Old Cataloochee Turnpike Road is narrow and it creaks and pops as you drive across. I didn't think our truck would fit at first or it would hold the weight. But it did just fine and that is a good thing as this part of the road is way out away from any civilization.
